On a warm afternoon this May, I had a long and generous visit with Bill Simmerman of Misty

Meadow’s sheep dairy farm to see if we would want to carry their cheeses, yogurts, ice cream,

and meats. As Barbara and Bill Simmerman, [owners and farmers] say, it is their dream and a

gift to us. I was not only impressed by the cleanliness of the farm, especially the cheese making

rooms, the loving care of the sheep, but by the amount of research that they have done. There

is a reason they are one of only two GRADE A dairy farms in the state. One taste of their

delicious products is a testimony to how much a labor of love this farm is.
